MATCHA, YAME 04

MATCHA, YAME comes from Yame in Fukuoka prefecture, a region of misty mornings and strong teas. Four BIO-certified varietals, Tsuyuhikari, Yabukita, Okuyutaka and Saeakari, form a blend at around 250 metres above sea level, harvested in May and milled in Japan.

Full and savoury with the roasted notes typical of Yame. The blend brings body to the bowl, so the flavour stays recognisable with oat or cow milk instead of disappearing behind sweetness.
